Thank you for keeping me, was the announcement of me being conceived happy news to you, I would never know.
Thank you for incubating me, was the symptoms of pregnancy favourable with you, I would never know.
Thank you for birthing me, was the process an easy one or was it a heart wrenching one, I would never know.
Thank you for nursing me, was the universe accommodating with you by giving you an obedient child, I think I would never know.
Thank you for all these years and counting. I pray you are here for a long time.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers. Mothers; by birth, by relationship, father-mothers, mothers in waiting, mothers with special needs children, mothers who have lost children, mothers who have lost mothers. We celebrate all of you today. You are the best at what you do. Let the heavens open up to your prayers; for your children, families and yourselves.
